As soon as you pass through the Paldi railway crossing , comes the mini car museum which is absolute free of cost. Ever heard something like this before? No, then car lovers you have missed on a lot of things and you might also regret it. To give a personal opinion, I myself am a big car fan, be it new cars or vintage. A well maintained car studio since 1988 is still in an up to date condition, is it not amazing?! It was opened by the current owners’ grand-father, and they have two Austin’s and one Morris and Dodge each on display, with more cars in the owners’ yard (where you might not be allowed to go). All the cars are imported and are even older than me or say before India got its independence (the cars date be- tween the 1920 to the 1930s). The owner said that “Badhij gaadi barni che, ane dur autbadiya kato be autbadiya, gaadio ne road per mukiye che.” This means that all the cars are imported and every week or two weeks, the cars are put on road to drive. Isn’t it amazing that the cars still work? I always wanted to go in- side and watch the cars closely, that day I did got a chance when I was on the city tour forour travel book but there is also a bad news for car lovers and collectors and also me as I had hoped to buy one of them when I grew older, but the owner had also quoted that the cars are not for sale or either for rent, but the cars are only for people to see. Well that is what a mini car museum means after all.
